What it is

Deep work without forcing your body.

Deep tissue massage is less about using the most pressure possible and more about working slowly, at a useful angle, with enough time for guarded areas to respond. The session may include sustained compression, slower strokes, and focused work with hands or forearms.

Attention usually stays with the muscles that feel chronically tight, overused, or restricted. Pressure is built gradually and adjusted throughout the session; bracing through pain is not the goal.

Is deep tissue massage a good fit?

For the places that never quite let go.

Deep tissue massage can be a useful starting point when broad relaxation work is not enough and you want more time spent on specific, familiar areas.

What to expect

Specific work, built up thoughtfully.

  1. We choose a clear target.

We start with the areas affecting you most and talk through pressure preferences, recent changes, and anything to avoid.

  2. Pressure builds gradually.

The area is warmed before deeper work begins, giving the tissue time to respond instead of jumping straight to intensity.

  3. Your feedback shapes the session.

Pressure, pace, and technique can change at any point. Effective work should not require you to endure pain in silence.
